Sunless Tanning Prep Instructions

Get the most, even, long-lasting glow with proper prep:

Exfoliate thoroughly - focus on dry areas like elbows knees, ankles and hands.
Shave or wax at least 24 hours prior- to avoid skin irritation and uneven absorption.
Moisturize daily leading up to your tan - well-hydrated skin tans better (but avoid moisturizer the day of.)

Arrive with clean, dry skin - no lotion, makeup, perfume, oils, or deodorant.
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing and flip-flops or sandals to avoid rubbing the tan off.
Bring a hair tie or clip if you have long hair and remove all jewelry.

Sunless Tanning Post Care Instructions

⌛ Right After Your Tan:

Avoid water, sweating, or skin contact for at least 8-12 hours (or as advised).
Do not shower immediately - allow the tan to fully develop.
Wear loose, dark clothing to avoid rubbing the tan off
Sleep on dark sheets if tanning before bed to prevent transfer.

🚿 Your First Shower:

Rinse with lukewarm water only - no soap or scrubbing.
Don't be alarmed - the cosmetic bronzer will wash off, revealing your real tan underneath.
Pat skin dry gently with a towel - don't rub.

🧴 Ongoing Care:

Moisturize daily with a tan-friendly (oil-free) lotion to extend your glow.
Avoid long hot showers, baths, pools, and exfoliating - they fade your tan faster.
